Each client’s experience will be unique to him or her. When deciding to retain counsel, it is important to meet with the attorney to discuss your case. Since you will be working closely with the attorney, you will want to make sure your personality does not clash. An effective attorney will advise you on how the law applies to the facts of your case, regardless of whether the outcome is perceived as unfavorable. Our office has handled many family law and dissolution of marriage cases throughout Florida. Several cases are purposely filed in less populated counties in Florida (when both parties consent) to help reduce the chance of publicity. A majority of the cases are settled out of court. There are a few cases that do not even involve litigation, such as prenuptial and postnuptial agreements.
